These are interest rates, prepayment, terms, and the repayment amount and frequency. Although there are exceptions, most loans have these elements. Some may have higher interest rates than others, and you'll need to keep this in mind when you are trying to find a good lending company. The same thing goes for the terms of the loan, as well as the prepayment and repayment amounts. Compare all four areas when looking for a loan, and you'll have a good idea of which loan is better than the other.
There are two main types of mortgage loans categories in mortgages and real estate: fixed rate mortgages and adjustable rate mortgages, also known as FRM and ARM respectively. Fixed rate mortgages have the same interest rate for the entire life of the loan. This is good if the rate is as low as possible. With adjustable rate mortgages, these interest rates change according to the economy and other factors. This can be a risky choice because, if the interest rates get really high, there is nothing you can do about it. If you choose a fixed rate mortgage, make sure that it has a very low interest rate to start with, that way you will keep that low rate for the life of the loan.

Instead of worrying about each kind, it is best to visit your mortgage broker and let them figure out what is best for you. After all, that is their job. Make sure that you get a mortgage broker that has a license and a lot of real world experience.
